PRISM – Property’s Information Provider
Property Information System Malaysia (PRISM) is an effort made by the National Property Information Centre (NAPIC) to enhance the quality of the country’s real estate information gathering system.
This ICT system does not only collect information but also store, analyse and provide data and information through web-base.
PRISM consists of eight subsystems and one of them is Property Management Information System (PIMS).
All the eight sub systems will be integrated with one another Datuk Amar added that the total development for this system is RM23.52 million.
Initial studies has begun in late 2005, however, the complete system are expected to be done by the end of 2009.
However, the success of this ICT System does not only rely on how good the technology is but the co-operation of from everyone; public and private sector.
