Chief Minister YAB Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud declared open the 1 Million Purple Walk gathering an estimated 15,000 people at a walk to celebrate women held at Kuching yesterday. At the launching ceremony, he is joined by Datuk Hajah Fatimah Abdullah, Minister in Welfare, Women and Family Development and YB Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani Sarawak State Secretary (left).
