Deputy Chief Minister YB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu Numpang (centre) officiated the opening ceremony of the Sarawak Career and Training Fair (SCaT) 2014 themed ‘Enhancing Employability’ at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching yesterday.
Also present were Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office (Technical Education Promotion) YB Datu Len Talif Salleh (second right), Assistant Minister of Industrial Development (Industrial Estate Development) YB Datuk Peter Nansian and State Secretary YB Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani (second left).
“Schools leavers must find out about the area of knowledge and skills demanded by the industry in the future and then explore the various educational and skills training options offered,” said the Deputy Chief Minister when reading the speech by the Chief Minister.
