A state-level One District One Product (SDSI) workshop was held at Damai Beach Resort, Santubong to provide the opportunity for over 80 participants to exchange ideas and share entrepreneurial experiences. The workshop, held on 2 March 2015, featured five guest speakers from Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office (Bumiputera Entrepreneur Development) and Assistant Minister of Resource Planning Development YB Datuk Haji Mohd Naroden Haji Majais (seated centre) declared open the workshop which was held.
During the opening ceremony, YB Datuk Mohd Naroden pointed out that participants would acquire additional knowledge given that foreign experts, who had succeeded in promoting their local products in their respective countries, had come to share their success stories.
“This workshop provides an avenue for all to brainstorm and come up with effective strategies to realise SDSI in Sarawak,” added the Assistant Minister.
