Themed “Forest for Community Livelihood” this year, the International Day of Forests, celebrated on March 21 annually, aims to remind people to respect and appreciate the forest as a priceless gift. The Sarawak Government, surmised the Chief Minister during his speech before launching the event, will continue to take serious measures in curbing illegal logging within the timber industry in order to preserve our forests for future generation.
