Themed ‘Gemilang Perpaduan’, the celebration on the weekend was organised by the Department of National Unity and Integration Sarawak in the hopes of promoting and strengthening unity through various programmes and activities that encouraged interaction between different communities within the State.
Also present during the launch were Kota Samarahan MP YB Rubiah binti Haji Wang, Samarahan Resident Abdul Rahman Sebli bin Senusi and Samarahan Walikota Peter Minos.
