Organised by Jabatan Belia dan Sukan Sarawak, the event aimed to give recognition to individuals and associations that responded to the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ efforts to promote the Sports for All (Sukan untuk Semua) concept, create healthy competition among them as drivers of Sports for All, and raise awareness as well as encourage the society to participate in sports activities towards forming a sports-cultured community.
Winners for this year are:
Anugerah Pemimpin Lelaki (prizes include RM2,000, a trophy and a certificate):
Pui Jak Joon from Smart Taekwondo Club, Bintulu.
Anugerah Kategori Persatuan (prizes include RM5,000 for assistance in activities, a trophy and a certificate):
Sarawak Dragon-Lion Dance & Wushu Association.
Anugerah Tokoh ASUS (prizes include RM2,000, a trophy and a certificate):
Haji Jumaat bin Haji Ibrahim from Sarawak Muaythai Association.
