Organised by LPPKN in collaboration with SHRU from the Chief Minister’s Department, the two-day seminar themed “Work-Life Balance” held from 19 to 20 October 2015 aims to raise awareness and knowledge to parents on the importance of balancing their roles at work and family, and provide parenting skills and guidance in meeting challenges faced by families in the family life cycle.
The seminar also features talks on fitrah, parenting, stress management, mental health, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle by speakers from LPPKN.
This is the first seminar of its kind to be organised for the Sarawak civil service, with plans for more among local authorities, statutory bodies and government-linked companies (GLCs).
