Themed “Knowledge: The Key to a Better Tomorrow”, 200 participants consisting of librarians, archive officers, policy makers, students, and academicians among others are attending the three-day event that began on Sunday, 15 November and will end today, 17 November.

The conference also features two keynote speeches and 35 paper presentations from professionals and experts in the knowledge industry, as well as researchers and academicians, from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Iran, Algeria, South Africa and Uganda.

The event is the finale of a series of programmes organised in conjunction with the State Library’s 15th anniversary celebration this year; it was the second of its kind since it was first held in 2005.
