Themed “Our Water Resources: Manage, Safeguard, Conserve”, the three-day event that began on Monday serves as a platform for experts from various relevant fields, together with policymakers, industrial leaders, government officials, consultants, researchers and engineers from Malaysia and other nations in the Asian region, to discuss and share experiences in addressing issues and challenges concerning current global water resources and water supply.
Over 300 delegates are attending the event, jointly organised by the Malaysian Water Association (MWA) and the Malaysian District Water Engineers Action Committee (JTJAD)
This third BWWE, following the previous two held in 2010 and 2012, is organised in conjunction with the 28th Annual Meeting of JTJAD 2015.
Also present at the launch were MWA Vice President Ir Haji Mohmad Asari Daud and Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water’s Director-general Ir Haji Noor Azahari Zainal Abidin.
