Themed “Improving Productivity through Regulatory Coherence and Good Practice”, the two-day forum that begins today aims to provide an open and participatory platform for Asia-Pacific nations to stimulate discussions on ways to enhance the quality of regulations for competitiveness and better economic and social outcomes.
It brings together practitioners, policy makers and researchers who are experienced in the field of regulatory policy and enables in-depth discussions in a closer setting, subsequently becoming a platform for cross-border networking among experts and public officials.
The forum are co-hosted by Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Korea Policy Centre, Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), Korea Legislation Research Institute and Korea Institute of Public Administration and supported by the Sarawak Government; it features 19 speakers from Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Mongolia, Russia, Germany and Australia.
