The MoU which was signed at the 13th International Sago Symposium opening ceremony marks the beginning of the collaboration between UiTM and the Society of Sago Palm Studies, Japan in exchanging materials, publication and information and international projects. Both organisations will also consider joint venture in applied research, research-based education, seminars, educational programmes as well as organising symposium, conferences and meetings on research issues.
Attended by 200 participants from eight countries, among those present during the opening ceremony in Kuching on October 3rd was Organising Chairperson, Associate Professor Dr. Margaret Chan. Full Story
