Deputy Chief Minister YB Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hasan (second left) delivered his opening keynote address during the panel discussion of “Investment Opportunity in Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) during the 13th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF).
Present for the panel discussion (from left) were Managing Director of Asia Capital Markets Institute (ACMI), Hong Kong Brian W. Tang as the moderator, Chief Executive Officer of Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA), Sarawak Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya Dandot and Deputy Executive Officer of Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Malaysia Datuk N. Rajendran as the speakers.
According to Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wilson Baya said that among the investment opportunities available in the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) includes building of township in area such as Samalaju, Matadeng, Mulu and Bario; lake development for tourism in Murum, Bakun, Baleh, Limbang and Trusan; integrated waste management facilities in areas such as Tanjung Manis and Samalaju; commercial agriculture projects such as food basket, Highland Agriculture and Livestock farming; Halal Hub and Collection, Processing and Packaging Centre (CPPC).
