Themed ‘Digitalisation Towards Smart and Friendly City’, the DBKU Agenda 2018 is set to be held at Waterfront, Kuching from 26 to 28 January 2018.
According to Mayor of Kuching North City Commission (DBKU), YBhg Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap Abang Julai during a press conference on January 19th, the Sarawak Chief Minister YAB Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg will be present during the officiating ceremony on January 27th at 8.30 pm.
“We will be also be expecting to have about 50, 000 visitors coming to the DBKU Agenda 2018 event throughout the three days duration of the event,” he said.
Adding more, YB Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap Abang Julai said that DBKU, in collaboration with Sacofa Sdn. Bhd will be providing free high speed internet at the Square Tower of Waterfront Kuching throughout the three days.
The press conference on January 19th also saw DBKU exchange a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sarawak telecommunication infrastructure company, Sacofa Sdn. Bhd.
Other activities held during the DBKU Agenda 2018 includes Mini UTC, Ekspo Digital #MA2018, performance by Prime Domestic, #MA18 Tree Planting, Games Pavillion, Agenda Amazing Race, DBKU i-Share Session and martial art showcase.
