Assistant Minister for Native Land Development, YB Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn represented Deputy Chief Minister of Sarawak and Minister for Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land & Regional Development, YB Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas to show off the brochures during a press conference in Kuching. Also joining him, YBhg. Datu Ik Pahon Anak Joyik, Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Sarawak; Head of Commercialisation of Agriculture Division of The Ministry of Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Dr. Gluma Saban; Acting Director of Agriculture Sarawak, Dr. Alvin Chai Liam Kuet; Acting Deputy Director of Veterinary Services Sarawak, Dr. Sajem ak Jinim and SDI Chief Executive Officer, Lelia Sim Ah Hua.

Sarawak AgroFest 2018 will be officiate by the Chief Minister of Sarawak, YAB Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg on 25th October 2018.

The Inaugural Sarawak AgroFest 2018 is set to be the premier agricultural festival in Sarawak. It will be organised by the Sarawak Government under the Ministry of Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Sarawak (MANRED) together with its agencies, Department of Agriculture and Department of Veterinary Services Sarawak.

The festival will also be supported by Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Malaysia (MOA) and its Agencies, Sarawak Development Institute (SDI), Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA), Persatuan Pedagang dan Pengusaha Melayu Malaysia (PERDASAMA) and Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB). The festival will be held on 20th to 28th October 2018 at Penview Convention Centre (PCC) Demak, Kuching.
