Members of the public must take notice of the latest standard operating procedure (SOP) for the quarantine and Covid-19 test costs
The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (DSMC) has released an updated standard operating procedure (SOP) for the quarantine and Covid-19 test costs.
The latest SOP was released on 18th August 2020.
For Sarawakians, the guideline for returning to the State includes:
- Mandatory quarantine for 14 days
- To undergo Covid-19 test twice which is on second and tenth day
- The quarantine and Covid-19 cost will be borne by the Sarawak government
For non-Sarawakians including those from West Malaysia, Sabah, Labuan and foreigners, the guidelines to enter the State includes;
- Mandatory quarantine for 14 days
- To undergo Covid-19 test twice which in on the second and tenth day
- The quarantine and Covid-19 cost will be borne by themselves
SDMC noted these guidelines would be enforced until 31st August 2020.
