Business owners who wish to resume operation must practice the ‘new normal’ by adopting the standard operation procedure (SOP) approved by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC)

Business owners who wish to resume operation must practice the ‘new normal’ by adopting the standard operation procedure (SOP) approved by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).

Business and premise owners must practice health measures such as practicing social distancing of at least one meter and encourage the practice of wearing face mask at all time.

They must also promote high hygiene practices by frequently washing hands or use hand sanitiser at their premises. Premise owners must provide this facility to their workers.

Premise owners must also promote the digital system such as the use of e-commerce payment such as SarawakPay, Boost, Fave, GrabPay. They must also practice contact tracing by recording staff attendance, materials delivery and customers in the premise.

Business and premise owners must also practice infection prevention practices by checking the employees for Covid-19 symptoms everyday and train them to monitor and act in case of suspected cases arises.

Premise owners must also avoid any sort of gathering such as the cinema, football stadium, sports that involves physical contact and celebration activities.

Business owners who wish to resume operating during the Conditional Movement Control Oder (CMCO) must notify the SDMC.
