Housing Development Corporation (HDC) will organize an Open Day at its headquarters at Wisma Sultan Tengah, Jalan Sukma, Petra Jaya, this Saturday, December 11, 2010, from 9am to 5pm and will be officiated by the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, YB Datuk Amar Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Abang Haji Openg.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of HDC, Wan Ahmad Yusof bin Wan Moss, in conjunction with the program, HDC will also hold its Customer Day, open for queries and transactions with its customers and will also exhibit HDC products and programs throughout Sarawak, including special counters for People’s Friendly Housing (Rumah Mesra Rakyat) and HDC affordable housing throughout Sarawak.
HDC is also organizing an exhibition as part of the Open Day Program involving private developers, banks and insurance company, other the car promotions, flea market, food stalls and many more.
The exhibition will also educate the public with “green” products from Greenlam Asia Pacific Pte Ltd for furniture making (cabinets, wardrobe, wall panels, ceilings, etc). Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB), Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (SHEDA) will also take part to update the public on their products and services.
To attract more crowd, HDC will also organize activities such as Big Bikes Show, Coloring Contest for Children (4-6 years at 11.00 am), telematch (11.00 am) Karaoke Competition (at 2pm) and quizzes for visitors with attractive prizes.
Members of the public and nearby residents are invited to visit HDC as there will be fun-filled activities for everyone.
