Members of the public are to take notice of the latest update on the Movement Control Order (MCO) for Covid-19.
It was announced that certain services and businesses are allowed to operate twice a week from 7 am to 7 pm.
These includes hardware shops, spare part shops (agriculture and industrial machinery), rumbia processing factories, shops selling agriculture supplies (fertilizers, pesticides, animal feeds) and car or motorcycles workshops.
On travelling notice, foreigners travelling by air, land and seas are banned from transiting in Sarawak.
All Sarawakians entering the State from foreign countries, Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Labuan must be quarantined at the quarantine centres based on their location of arrival.
Flights connecting from Sibu to Kuala Lumpur and vice versa are cancelled until 14th April 2020.
Flights from Labuan to Miri throughout the MCO period will be reduced to three das a week (Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays).
Flights connecting from Miri to KL and vice versa are also reduced to twice a week (Thursdays and Sundays).
