Fire

On 8 July 2022, Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JBPM) Sarawak held a series of presentation ceremonies. They included the handover of an application called Geographic Information System (GIS) Fire Hydrant by Politeknik Kuching, certificate presentations of Anugerah Kualiti Perkhidmatan Awam Negeri Sarawak 2022 (AKPANS) and Hero Bomba, as well as the handover of utility vehicles to JBPM Sarawak.

The GIS Fire hydrant is a GIS -based fire hydrant and open-source management system that serves the purpose of supporting the acquisition, storage, processing, analysis and display of spatial data.
