Development infrastructures have an important part in providing more economic opportunities to the local community. As the population continues to grow, it is imperative for high-quality infrastructure that is sustainable, increases business activities, creates new employment, narrows income disparities and empowering participation from various background.

MCO period is also an advantage for homestay operators to do some self-reflection on what more can be done to improve their service quality.

While agriculture has been part and parcel of the Samarahan’s economy, the Government intends to add value to the sector by expanding it beyond the production stage into processing and marketing, be it agriculture produce or agro-based products.
